How to show appreciation to your customers?
February 12, 2008
Have you had thoughts of showing your customers more appreciation, well now is your chance. Consider some of the 6 brownie points that could keep your customers. • Start a customer loyalty program. While these programs can get expensive, be sure to set your budget and work from there. • Consider starting a birthday club. • Follow-ups, follow-ups, follow-ups on all your services. Get the thank you and testimonials. Make sure that they have enjoyed their services. This may also be an opportunity for you to get other suggestions for your business. • Give them some celebrity attention. Is this your customer’s anniversary at work or personal life? For example, send a card with all your staffs’ signature. They are sure to love this one. • Does your client love sports, pets, interior design or recreation? Is she/he a nurse, doctor, secretary, news anchor, etc? Mail them occasional newspaper and magazine clippings will help your customers see you as more of a partner in their lives and not just a business. • Customer appreciation day. When was the last time you had one of these? True testimonial: I remember when I was invited to my CPA’s home for customer appreciation for Memorial Day and it was the best! The customers brought sodas and juice and the CPA had all the food and gifts. Needless to say I have been with him continuously for 10 years now and I always recommend everyone I know who is looking for a quality CPA.
